Carbon Tech uses high density carbon fabric specially designed for even heat distribution.
The fabric is soft and so moulds easily into any shape providing maximum patient comfort.

Easy to use

Once switched on, the Carbon Tech mat will reach its target temperature in less than 5 minutes. It is designed to maintain this temperature safely for long periods.

Safe Heating

Made of heating elements 6 times more effective than classical heating mats, Carbon Tech delivers a low contact temperature while transferring to the animal the energy necessary for heating it up.
The Carbon Tech fabric does not store heat, and so there is no risk of burns.

Robust

The protective coating on Carbon Tech is designed for maximum resistance to animal scratching and biting and is totally waterproof. The covering is guaranteed for 5 year against scratches and bites. 

Hygenic

Carbon Tech can be cleaned easily with water and soap.
After drying, it can be disinfected with alcohol.

PREVENTIVE

Maintaining patient body temperature is very important in the peri and post-operative period.
The inability of an anaesthetised patient to maintain its body temperature can lead to hypothermia. The consequences of this include:

• Slow anaesthetic recovery
• Delayed wound healing
• Risk of shock, poor circulation
• Thus, risk of death

Maintaining a patient’s body is also important during simple procedures such as dental scaling. The smaller the animal, the greater the risk of hypothermia. Thus, monitoring temperature is very important for rodents and birds.

CURATIVE

Hypothermia associated with shock must be treated slowly and systematically. It is important to maintain body temperature as closest as possible to 38°C. The heating mat enables gentle and uniform warming of the patient without any risk of burning.

The use of Carbon Tech during anaesthesia or resuscitation to maintain patient temperature is simple and safe.
